In addition to recording pipes with constant bending radii, free-form bent pipes can also be precisely measured and documented. 
The system is capable of working on a wide range of materials, including those with highly reflective surfaces.

 
MSG Maschinenbau can design and release the system that best suits the needs of the production line. With a measuring speed up to 200Hz and an accuracy up to 50 µm, GMS-I can detect many details of the pipe, such as:

- ID (mean, min, max) [mm];
- Inner ovality [mm, %];
- General inner geometries [mm];
- Local out of roundness [mm];
- Weld seam geometry (height, peaking, flattening, weld edge misalignment) [mm].
