Coil processing lines

A cornerstone of the steel industry, FIMI supplies tension-leveling lines, degreasing and pre-treatment lines, as well as advanced coating lines with special machines capable of processing coils up to 500 m/min, thickness range 0.012 mm - 5 mm, width range 200 mm - 2800 mm wide.

Tension-leveling lines
The Group can supply three types of plants: standard, with Proflexroll® system and combined. They all guarantee perfectly leveled, high-quality sheets and strips, with minimal maintenance costs. The lines integrate a high-tension levelling system with PROFLEXROLL® and an automatic flatness adjuster with TDRoll®.

Degreasing and pre-treatment lines
Specially designed to improve operating efficiency and obtain a perfectly treated material. Available in three versions: washing with hot water or steam, electrolytic degreasing or chemical degreasing in spray baths with alkaline and/or acid products. FIMI lines are able to process aluminum up to 12 μm while maintaining the mechanical characteristics of the material unaltered.

Advanced coating lines with special machines
Designed with cycles managed by PC or PLC, wireless HMI and interfacing with the production office. They are available in variable configurations according to production requirements and can be supplied with multiple sensors to ensure product quality and operator safety, coating and handling robots, as well as coating stations with automatic multi-color changeover.
