Cut-to-length lines for the production of metal sheets

n

Guida is a leader in the design and construction of plants for the processing of coils and sheet metal. The cut-to-length (CTL) with unwinding, leveling, cutting, and stacking systems are designed to work on all types of steel, hot-rolled, cold-rolled, galvanized, pickled, and oiled.

These plants can meet any need, both for large steel mills and small local service centers. The main feature of Guida's CTL lines for sheet metal is the possibility of integration with other automated systems for stacking and packaging the sheets, inspecting the surfaces, and measuring their thickness.

One or more inline levelers can be used depending on the needs. The range of processable thicknesses ranges from 0.2 to 20 mm.

Special applications
Guida's cut-to-length lines can also be applied to processing high-strength and thick steel for structural applications, tempered steel, mirrored stainless steel, aluminum, and other lightweight alloys. In particular, for processing high-strength steel, the company installs multiple engines with electronic control, useful for balancing and adjusting the torque required for the leveling process.

Each cut-to-length line for the production of metal sheets is designed to achieve high levels of productivity and optimize processing times with minimal use of personnel in machine operation.
