Thanks to the use of 3D solid models and CAD/CAM nesting, the creation of complex shapes with NC programs is extraordinarily straightforward. Additionally, the Junior version allows minimizing production times to handle urgent works promptly, optimizing sheet utilization through an advanced nesting feature.

A space cam system is also available: it can read and import 3D data from a solid workpiece, with a consequent set-up time reduction even in complex situations.

Moreover, the FG CAD/CAM system allows operators to reduce the preparation time needed to process tubular/rotary axis parts thanks to handy features such as a comprehensive library of cross-section and geometry data. Last but not least, Mazak’s FX TUBE is a PC-based suite for the creation of complex pipe shapes. The software automatically adds hole and cut-shape patterns to accelerate the drawing process, and a fully rendered 3D kinematic simulation maximizes reliability by detecting possible interferences.
