Vertical wire drawing lines

The MaiaStar-DV by Promostar is a multipass drawing vertical line specifically designed for low- and medium-carbon wire production. This system can process wires with inlet diameter from 5.5 to 10 mm and outlet ribbed or smooth wire diameter from 1 to 8 mm.

The line consists of different modules and can be set with one, two, or three vertical-axis capstans to adjust to different wire diameters. A cooling water system maintain the capstans cooled and allows high-speed wire production up to 30 m/s. The machine features safety protections as well as a dust-extraction system, and can adjust the speed through short dancers.

This system can be equipped with a static coiler (dead block), a horizontal spooler, rolling cassettes, manual strapping machines, and rotating die boxes.
