Optical measuring systems for bent tubes
TUBOSCAN S200 is an optical measuring system designed by MSG Maschinenbau that accurately identifies geometrical data of tube and pipe figures. The process is performed in within only 13 seconds.
Its high flexibility allows for precise measurement and documentation of pipes with constant bending radii and free-form curved pipes, making it suitable for quality assurance and correction of bending data. With a measuring accuracy of ±0.1 mm, the system provides exceptional precision.
The measuring cell employs photogrammetric shadow analysis to evaluate the tube. Thanks to its high-resolution camera technology, the system ensures extremely precise measurement results. The system is especially suitable for curved pipes (e.g. hydraulic pipes) and
curved rod material (e.g. coil springs). It is also applicable to a wide range of materials, including steel, brass, aluminum, titanium, transparent materials, and highly reflective surfaces.
