Air Separator

n

For a safe and economical supply of inert gas

The annealing process requires an inert atmosphere to prevent wire surface oxidation, rendering the wire useless. Steam and nitrogen are commonly used for continuous annealers, but steam is energy-intensive and requires storage. NIEHOFF's Air Separator offers an alternative by utilizing pressurized gases flowing through an oxygen-permeable hollow fiber, selectively collecting nitrogen while allowing other gases to diffuse. This cost-effective solution ensures a constant supply of nitrogen without the need for storage or reliance on gas suppliers. The Air Separator can be centrally controlled to supply multiple annealers simultaneously, generating nitrogen with the desired purity level, resulting in lower costs and guaranteed availability.

The Air Separator is compatible with all wire annealers.
