wire Middle East Africa is an international trade fair dedicated to the wire and cable industry. It brings together manufacturers, suppliers, and professionals from the wire and cable sector to showcase their products, discuss industry trends, and establish business connections. The second edition will take place at the EIEC (Egypt International Exhibition Center) in Cairo, from September 6 to 8, 2025.

wire MEA focuses on the Middle East and Africa regions, attracting exhibitors from the wire and cable industry. It showcases companies involved in wire and cable production, wire processing, machinery, wire products, and accessories. The event covers a broad range of industry aspects, including wire drawing, forming, wire mesh, fasteners, and related technologies, providing a comprehensive platform for machinery, equipment, materials, and services in the wire and cable sector.
AGEX and Messe Düsseldorf, the organizers of the fair
The collaboration between Messe Düsseldorf and AGEX (Arabian German Exhibitions & Publishing Ltd), the local organizer of METAL & STEEL EGYPT, fostered valuable synergies across multiple industrial sectors. AGEX, having organized METAL & STEEL EGYPT since 2010, brought its deep knowledge of the regional market, while Messe Düsseldorf contributed its global expertise in managing large-scale trade fairs. This partnership not only expanded the reach of the event, attracting international exhibitors and professionals, but also provided a platform for networking and innovation in the metal and steel, wire, cable, tube, foundry, and metallurgy industries.
About the previous edition
Messe Düsseldorf’s four new foreign trade fairs - wire and Tube Middle East Africa, along with GIFA and METEC Middle East Africa - made a successful debut at METAL & STEEL EGYPT from 2 to 4 September 2024. Held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo, the event attracted 383 exhibitors from 19 countries and over 7,000 professionals.
