Bright low and medium carbon drawn wire

The internationally renowned SIAT SpA, Italian specialist in the wire industry, manufactures bright drawn wires out of low and medium carbon wire rod.

The wire rod is directly supplied from Pittini Group’s steel mills so as to ensure control, uniformity and consistency across the entire production process. The product selection ranges from ø1.6 to ø14 mm.

Bright drawn wires are particularly well suited for surface treatments such as chromium, zinc, nickel, and plastic coating, or painting. They find large usage in the automotive, household, metal small parts, and mechanical industry fields. Moreover, this type of wire is also used in the production of display stands, industrial boxes, and furniture.

Bright drawn wires are manufactured in compliance with the following regulations:

- EN ISO 16120-2 (ex 10016-2) C4D;
- EN ISO 16120-2 (ex 10016-2) C7D;
- EN ISO 16120-2 (ex 10016-2) C9D;
- EN 10277-2.
