Zinc-alu wire for welded mesh, rockfall mesh cables and metal parts

Tecnofil specializes in the production of wire with low-medium carbon content and subsequent surface treatments.

The production of zinc-alu wire is carried out by dipping it in a bath of 99.995% pure zinc, followed by a zinc and aluminum bath.
Perfect adhesion of the coating and optimal resistance to oxidation are guaranteed thanks to the use of latest generation systems.

Possibility of offering tailor-made solutions for what concerns:
• characteristics of the material
• surface treatments
• supply dynamics.

These service capabilities allow Tecnofil to proactively meet the different needs in a several application fields, such as farming, rockfall mesh, shepherd’s mesh, armored electric cables, bent metal elements. The workable diameters range between 1.9 and 8mm.

Three different classes of coatings available:
- class A: usually coated with zinc alloy in the final dimensions;
- class B: usually coated and subsequently re-drawn;
- class AB: re-drawn or coated with alu-zinc alloy after final drawing.
