Lead material receives too often unfair criticism. It is said to be both dangerous and harmful to the environment. Nevertheless, the truth is that this is in many aspects wrong. Lead's properties are excellent, both for us and, actually, for the environment: a lead sheathing ensures high reliability and lengthens the service life of any cable subjected to high electrical stress. It also provides an excellent barrier to chemicals, oils, water and sulphides that is essential for highest cable performance.

Wide range of cable diameters
The lead extruder can be equipped with various sizes of die block each with its own specific range of diameters and operational properties. Diameters ranging from 6 mm to 225 mm are possible.

Expected output
The most common alloys for cable sheathing, E and 1/2 C, can be produced at up to 18 and 25 kg/minute respectively.

Automatic computer control system
The extruder is delivered standard with an automatic control system that is flexible, easy to use, accurate and extremely reliable.
