Double roll straightening device for round bars

The SAS two-roll straightening device have a very strong frame, they are designed to straighten ferrous and non-ferrous materials round bars. Thanks to the simplicity of the execution, they are a precious support both in-line in connection with drawing bench or peeling machine and out-line.

The upper roll is concave. Its contour is designed to work with different grades of materials and it is powered with an AC motor at adjustable speed. Its position can be adjusted according to bar diameter.

The top performance of these machines is allowed by an additional adjustment, made over the angle of roll axis. The lower roll is convex, it is also powered by an AC motor at adjustable speed and the angle between its axis and the machine axis can be adjusted as well. The side guides have the same profile as the rolls, they can be easily opened and drive bars smoothly without jamming.

Two conveyors complete the machine: they can be adjusted in height in order to guide the bars firmly and exactly from the start to the end of processing. An optional electronic adjusting system is available upon request, it gives the possibility of full automated processing.
SAS offers the possibility of assemblying loading cells in order to read the actual load over the bar under process. This is very important when the bars under processing have a very sensible molecular structure.
