Metal tubes TIG and MIG welding

The welding department has eight robot-controlled welding stations with rotating axis and three manual welding stations.

Thanks to the use of robots during the machining phase the manufacturing processes are faster and optimised according to production type to give high precision and great quality. All this while keeping machining costs under control. Production in small and large production batches with welding robots is the winning option for special assemblies, in which there is a great need for quality and optimisation of costs.

Welding operations are carried out using both MIG and TIG welding methods, on dedicated templates for the individual products which are also created directly by the Company’s in-house tool-making department.

FASB uses ITALARGON and FRONIUS robots and welding machines.
