Using patented technology, the SQMF identifies imperfections in real-time, displaying defect shapes directly on-screen. Suitable for both production lines and offline analysis, the system supports round products ranging from 15 µm to 2000 µm, offering unmatched versatility and accuracy.

DLN, the comprehensive wire and cable measurement solution

Another highlight for CERSA-MCI at wire Mexico will be the DLN ultra-high-speed gauge, which measures diameters, ovality, and defects at an impressive rate of 750,000 values per second. Its capabilities make it a game-changer for manufacturers aiming to maintain stringent quality control standards.

Offline wire diameter and ovality measurement

For those seeking a complete characterization of wire shape, including ovality and roundness, precise diameter measurements in multiple directions are essential. To address this need, CERSA-MCI has developed the LDS device and its WSR wire sample rotation accessory. This system, utilizing cranks and geared pulleys, rotates the sample within the LDS laser beam. When equipped with this accessory, the LDS ensures precise results by keeping samples taut and aligned for accurate 360° characterization. LDS & WSR will also be the subject of one of the demonstrations offered by CERSA at its booth at wire Mexico.
