Spazzolplastica: new BS300 wire basket with increased capacity

Although the last few months were marked by a strong emergency situation, Spazzolplastica has heavily focused on R&D to create an innovative wire basket. This totally new product is an enhancement of the BS300 model: while maintaining the exact same structure, the capacity has been increased from 15-18 Kg to 22-27 Kg.

In particular, it features:
- external diameter 300 mm;
- central hole 52 mm;
- 16 large rods;
- 12 small rods;
- Fe360B (S235JR) wire with optional painting;
- standard: UNI EN ISO 544:2018.

What enables the two new versions of BS300 to have a greater capacity is the different positioning of the transversal rods. The more they are positioned towards the center, the more the central winding diameter they form becomes small, allowing to pack a greater quantity of wire.

The main advantage is the possibility of maintaining the same type of basket while being able to wind a greater quantity of wire than the standard, thus reducing the incidence cost on the final product. In addition, BS300 is as solid as plastic spools.

This wire basket with increased capacity is mainly designed for welding wire winding, but can be used for other types of wire as well.
