Rolling cassettes
Dirk Suski Drahtwalzwerkzeuge has its roots in the German special grinding shop of the Arnold Company. The founder Hans Arnold understood the importance of quality and reliability for the customers and focused on the repair and production of wire rolling tools.
During the ‘50s, the company's main goal was to simplify production and save time and costs: it thus developed new wire rolling tools and machines to automate the processes by centrally feeding the rolls, which no longer needed to be constantly adjusted, as the rolling pressure was distributed evenly over all rolls.
Arnold / Maschinenfabrik was a pioneer in this field: the company patented a new roller head, which could use larger rollers (from a diameter of 110 mm to 190 mm), thus significantly extending the tool life.
Further developments led to the design and patenting of a completely new roller stand with an electronic supply of the roller heads, and later to a hydraulically-driven roller machine, through to the complete rolling line with a pay-off reel, descaling, rolling devices, and take-up reel.
1991 marked an important milestone, with Horst Busemann and Dirk Suski taking over the company with the new name Busemann & Suski GbR. The company evolved rapidly over the following years, with several acquisitions and expanding their know-how with personnel training.
In 2010, the company took an important step in the field of quality, by becoming one of the first companies in this sector to be certified according to ISO 9001/2008.
Nowadays, Dirk Suski Drahtwalzwerkzeuge has reached an important position in the field of premium quality wire rolling tools manufactured in Germany, chosen by several clients worldwide who deeply believe in and share the company motto “Reduce costs - Increase service life.”
