Carlo Salvi celebrates 80th anniversary

The Italian company reached an important milestone with those who have marked and will mark the history of Carlo Salvi.

The company name comes from its founder, Carlo Salvi, who brought it into being in 1939.
Through many management changes, the enterprise soon became a major name in designing cold heading solutions across elite fields such as aeronautical, automotive, and electronic industries. The sense of a big family always remained intact, and all the protagonists of the company history gathered together the night of Saturday 14th September for the 80th anniversary of the company.

The whole night was rich in emotion: dr. Sergio Ziotti, former business owner, Claudine Hatebur de Calderón, President of the Board of Directors and owner of Carlo Salvi and Hatebur, Marco Pizzi, Chief Commercial Officer, Germano Pandiani, Chief Operating Officer, Thomas Christoffel, Chief Executive Officer and Thomas Hiltmann, Chief Financial Officer, made their appearance on stage.

Over 300 guests were invited, including employees and families, former employees, suppliers and partners. The President of UPIVEB (Italian fasteners manufacturers association) Sergio Pirovano and President of Confindustria Lecco Lorenzo Riva attended the event as well.

Marco Pizzi commented: “We wanted to celebrate the past, the present and the future of the company together with everyone whose life has been intertwined with Carlo Salvi”.
Furthermore, Germano Pandiani talked about the future-oriented ambition, “that in these 80 years has been a key point in the modus operandi of the management and the staff as a whole”.

Functionality and innovation are the keywords of the newest product and solution range of the company, that will allow Carlo Salvi to compete in an ever-evolving and unstable market.
