Carlo Salvi to launch the new CS 513TH heading machine at wire 2022

Carlo Salvi will be exhibiting with Hatebur at wire 2022, the international trade fair for the wire and cable industry, to be held in Düsseldorf, June 20-24.

The Italy-based company will not miss the chance to present the CS 513 TH, its first 5-station progressive header, integrated with a spot welding and rolling unit.

The new machine, which was supposed to be launched on the market in 2020, was put on standby due to the pandemic. However, Carlo Salvi's staff took advantage of this delay to implement further technological improvements. The progressive header thus marks a new chapter in the company's history: by choosing the CS 513 TH, customers will face reduced investment costs, minimize space requirements, and optimize processes, as they won’t need to purchase separate units anymore.

Capable of processing wire diameters from 6 to 13.5 millimeters with a minimum and maximum thread diameter of M6 to M12, this in-line machine provides improved accessibility and ergonomics for the operator. A desmodromic cam controls the rolling motion and allows for gradual deformation and perfect synchronization for the introduction of the parts into the thread rolling dies. The machine is also suitable for housing dies with increased thickness for processing materials with high mechanical strength, and features a control system that prevents the simultaneous introduction of two workpieces.
