Eurodraw Wire Equipment is pleased to announce its new addition to the corporate portfolio. The close cooperation with the major experts in the welding field has led to the creation of a brand-new, advanced piece of equipment: the SEC—Stick Electrode Cutting line.

A few more details

The line features three main elements. The first, a wire washing unit, is composed of a heated tank equipped with a pump. The tank allows water sedimentation to avoid excessive circulation of the removed lubricant thanks to a three-section design, whereas the pump feeds a special tube with brushes and nozzles that spray the wire.
The second piece of gear is a pinch roll, straightening, and cutting unit equipped with 4+4 motorized wheels followed by a long straightening unit and an independent-motor powered cutting wheel. The third and most important element is the Rotocell, which collects the cut-to-length sticks and stops them in a controlled manner. The Rotocell can automatically change the rotation direction in case of wire tangles and features a jam detector.
