Hydraulic flying shear
The market is evolving and it is always in search for production lines with higher and higher speed. SAS answer these requests offering lines with an increased speed, an increase in the speed of the drawing lines, of the cutting quality obtained and of the tolerance of the length.
Flying Shears cutting “bushing-to-bushing” have been designed and realized.
The cutting “bushing-to-bushing” enables the decrease of the specific pressure, generated by cutting stress on the material. A better quality of the point is obtained (nail effect) and the cut is perfectly orthogonal in respect of bar axis.
The shearing tool is assembled on a carriage sliding on ball guides and powered by a brushless electric motor. An electronic encoder, controlled by the central drive, powers the motor until the carriage reaches the same speed as the bar; the bar is cut only when the difference between the two speeds is zero and therefore differences in lengths are dramatically reduced.
