SAS ENGINEERING & PLANNING SRL has been constituted by Fermo Pietro Stefanoni, Giuseppe Aldeghi and Fermo Mario Stefanoni in 1973. Since 1978 the Company is located in Suello, Lecco Area, where steel working is a noble art since Leonardo Da Vinci times. At the beginning Company’s main activities, of the craft school, were maintenance and transformation, carried out by our staff thanks to its technical know-how and a deep knowledge of machines’ and equipments’ performances, which have been gradually reached out. New competencies acquired over the years added to the initial ones, along with a genuine entrepreneurial vocation and our capability to react promptly to the market requirements, have made SAS an outstanding leader in its industry.

By the end of the Seventies SAS has decided to widen its field of activity to drawing lines’ maintenance and improvement. We then devoted ourselves to the technological revision and modification of drawing machines, in order to increase production results and prevent our clients from making too onerous investments. Since the Eighties we have made a true qualitative leap: through the organisation of a technical and design office we put our efforts for carrying out technologically advanced solutions, implemented in a very innovative equipments’ construction, patented and recognised on an international level, too.

Nowadays more than 100 SAS’ combined lines are drawing around the world, Europe, America, Middle & Far East, in a booming path. Production quality, made in Italy, after-sales service guaranteed by 24 hours, complete flexibility on proposed solutions as well as customisation according to specific needs, stand as key factors at the base of our trusty relationship with customers.
