HS Industries produces normalized precision shafts for both rolled and trapezoidal ball screws.

Normalized steel ball screws are used as a mechanical component in various industrial applications, such as machine tools, robotics, and automotive.

Appreciated for their robustness, reliability, and precision, their distinctive feature is the use of steel balls that, interposed between the nut and the threaded sleeve of the spindle, significantly reduce friction and guarantee a smooth and highly efficient linear movement.

The normalized steel used in the construction of these screws offers a good compromise between strength, workability, and cost. Through a controlled heating and cooling process, the steel obtains a uniform microstructure that improves its mechanical properties.

HS Industries' dimensional range includes:
- diameters from 8 to 80 mm;
- lengths from 3100 to 6600 mm;
- max straightness 0.30 mm/m.

The company supplies normalized steel according to EN 10269:2001. All shafts are chamfered at one or both ends. They can be supplied with protective anti-corrosion paper packaging, but they can also be requested in wooden boxes for safe transport.
