Barni celebrates 55 years supporting coil and tube manufacturers worldwide

Barni is closing 2024 with the celebration of two key milestones: the holiday season and its 55th anniversary since Giuseppe Barni began production in Northern Italy. Here's a look back at its journey.

Barni, a leader in mechanics since 1969

In 1990, Barni restructured its organization, becoming a key partner to Italy's leading coil and tube producers, supplying both complete lines and individual machines.

By 2004, Barni expanded its operations, adding a technical department and growing its production area to 4,000 square meters. Leveraging its technical expertise and high production capacity, Barni made its mark internationally starting in 2009, when Maurizio Barni, the founder’s son, took over as sole shareholder.

In 2012, the company added a second production unit, expanding to 6,500 square meters. By 2014, a third unit was added, bringing the total to 10,000 square meters. In 2015, Barni achieved another milestone, further strengthening its position as a global leader in the industry.

Strategic acquisition of Guida Impianti

In 2023, Barni acquired Guida Impianti S.r.l., a historic Italy-based company specializing in complex coil processing systems. With over 800 installations globally, Guida Impianti has a long history of innovation in the industry.

Barni is also known for developing CROMATICA, an advanced digital printing system for coils, enabling high-quality, flexible surface finishing directly on the coil surface.

Today, Barni is a high-value engineering company, offering customized solutions and fast after-sales support to clients worldwide.
