SICME was established in 1955 in Turin, specializing in construction for production of enamelling machines for insulated copper and aluminium wire for electrical winding, starting from the finest round ones up to the largest strips.
ITALIA IMPIANTI, born in 1970, was specializing in construction of enameling machines for copper and aluminium wire. Its growth is due to the construction of single-block machines characterized by low consumptions and high reliability.
Our company uses the 55 years experience of Sicme and the 40 years experience of Italia Impianti, forming a production center unique for experience and size.
SICME ITALIA IMPIANTI has its headquarters in Druento (Turin) and it has an extent of 19.000 sqm, of which 10.000 are covered and used as works departments, equipped with 9 cranes with carrying capacity varying from 6 to 20 tons, a research laboratory, offices, spare parts warehouses and etc....
The workers are 50, divided in technologists, engineers, graduated skilled technicians, software engineers, mechanics, electricians, all people with excellent professional ability and long experience in this field.
The company carries out the production of all the parts of the plants in house, up to the testing of the finished machines, including the vertical ones, having a special 20 mts high testing tower. Only after the testing the machines are delivered.
