From their inception the companies RTM (Redaelli Tecna Meccanica), Italy and OTT, France became synonymous with high carbon steel wire transformation machinery. For several years these brand names also represented the designated engineering companies within the Redaelli Group, Italy.

Among many RTM achievements it is worth mentioning specifically the patented "SKIP" type bow strander, which, is the basic production equipment in the whole rope industry. The well-known OTT dry drawing machinery provides the end users with an integrated package of proven, world known machinery for this industry.
Since 1999, these two wire and rope machinery companies have become the Wire Machinery Division of Continuus-Properzi, which themselves have over sixty years of world renown history for the most advanced design, engineering and experience in manufacturing continuous casting and rolling lines for production of non-ferrous wire rod.

Being part of Continuus-Properzi WMD is a great advantage to RTM and OTT as they gained continued upgrade to the technical/design of their existing machinery lines, plus being introduced to new products which enable them to better maintain and improve their already well-proven machinery designs.
