Promostar was the first company to introduce the wire stretching process, a technology developed during the '90s as an alternative to hot rolling for the production of anti-seismic reinforcing products. The stretching process is today used worldwide to produce a full range of high-ductility materials, such as compact coils, bars, electro-welded mesh, lattice girders, etc.

Underpinning the remarkable results achieved over the years is a strong focus on the customer and their needs, the constant research for innovative solutions, and the selection of highly-qualified technical staff in the design, production, and customer service activities.

As an all-around active partner, Promostar offers a highly-flexible range of lines and services that can meet virtually any need for the production of low- and medium-carbon steel wire in coils/ bars/ spools: cold rolling, stretching, and recoiling lines, multipass drawing lines, straightening and cut-to-length lines, special electro-welded mesh and lattice girders welding lines, as well as spoolers and automatic strapping, weighing, and labeling stations.

Promostar lines can also be customized with a variety of accessories, such as drawing and rolling cassettes, optical centering instruments, calibration benches, butt welders, reels, and accessories for mesh lines.
