The group maintains a strong presence in two main markets: automotive and household appliances. In the automotive sector, which represents 40% of sales, CIMA operates across 18,000 sqm with over 250 machines, including a 1500T press and automatic welding systems. Notably, since 2003, they have been the exclusive supplier of Titanium springs for Ferrari. Their product range includes compression springs, shaped springs, torsion springs, and fasteners, working with materials from ferrous to titanium, with wire diameters ranging from 0.20mm to 25mm.
In the household appliances sector, accounting for 50% of sales, CIMA is a world leader in suspension systems for washing machines. Their 21,000 sqm facility produces over 70 million shock absorbers annually. They have patented innovations like the Rod Suspension system and produce suspension springs with patented SH wires from 2-4mm diameter, along with various shock absorbers ranging from 60 to 140 N.
The company maintains high quality standards with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949:2016 certifications across all plants. With three R&D offices, CIMA emphasizes co-design and innovation, serving approximately 700 customers worldwide. Their global presence spans Europe (35%), APAC (30%), Italy (22%), America (9%), and other regions (4%).
Recent achievements include winning the RSI & Welfare Award and initiating environmental certification procedures at their Slovak facility, demonstrating their commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility.
