ABS was established in 1988, by the merging of two well-known steel companies, Officine Bertoli and Acciaierie Safau. Ever since inception, we have been focusing on innovation. In an ever changing world, we decide to invest in skills, specialization, technological innovation, digitalization and sustainability.

In ABS, the steel making department of the Danieli Group, we study and create new solutions to assist our customers in their everyday work.
We do this by employing innovative processes, and cutting-edge technology. We are the result of long standing experience combined with strategic vision, intelligent design and great creativity. Our strength lies in specialization, we focus on those processes where quality is a prime requisite: production processes and highest value-added sectors

Ideal products for every application

We used our experience to develop new products and technological processes. The result is the outstanding diversity of our product range, from hot rolling to continuous casting.
Our main product lines are:

- FORGING: rolled steel products with a diameter ranging from 30 mm to 500 mm, which combine maximum lightness with the highest mechanical properties.

- SEMIS&OPEN DIE: semi-finished products with stainless steel round section ranging from 200 mm to 850 mm, forged products and ingots.

- MECHANICAL ENGINEERING: rolled, forged and cold-formed products (peeled and center-less ground), suitable for the production of an impressive wide range of products. Truly a one-stop shop in the mechanical engineering industry.
